This essay contest is open to all persons over 14 years of age.

Official Contest Essay Question
As followers of the path of Tenrikyo, our faith evolves as we move through life and as we expand and extend our beliefs of the teachings. This « journey of our faith », this evolution of our faith and spiritual beliefs may be divided into stages.

Identify, define and discuss what you consider to be the stages in an individual’s “journey of faith.” In your own personal journey, identify what stage you are presently in and explain why you believe you are in this stage. Share your personal experiences and cite scriptures of the teachings and other Tenrikyo documents.
